About a decade ago I read Brennan Manning’s book Relentless Tenderness of Jesus.  I remember struggling to read most of it because of the tears in my eyes.

As you do, you forget names and the impact of things.  Just last week though, I was looking for a video on Youtube and happened upon this great video sermon by Brennan.  Brennan is an American author, friar, priest, contemplative and speaker.

This video is just awesome. I’m grateful to have heard it. One of my favourite quotes ,amidst some amazing stories and perspectives, is “You are never more like Jesus than when you are choked with compassion for the brokenness of others. “
