I help people publish their own books.
The differences between publishing options vary. Many years ago, aspiring authors simply hoped to get signed by a big name Traditional Publisher – this was one of the only ways to get a book to market. But things have changed. Technology in printing and distribution has made a way for ANYONE to get their book printed and sold across the world with full ownership and agency.
I offer a turnkey solution to get your book into the world.
All royalties are yours. You have full control – I just help you through the technical and tricky parts.
The average cost of getting a book publishing and selling across the world in paperback and ebook is AUD$1970 (approx. USD$1350 USD).
However, packages can be adjusted to suit author’s needs. Let’s chat

Your guide and friend
-Best Selling Author and Publisher
David Tensen
Perhaps like you, I thought having a book to my name was a pipe-dream. I never thought I’d publish five books and sell thousands of copies. In 2018 I went through some turbulent life changes. To process it all, I turned to writing poetry. To my surprise, I was good at it and people loved what I’d posted to social media etc.
By what I can only describe as a divine appointment, I met a best selling author who fell in love with my work and suggested I publish a book. He gave me the details of his literary agent – a very connected guy in the US. Things were looking promising until COVID shut the world down and the traditional publishing industry put their brakes on. Still desperate to get the book into the world, I turned to Self Publishing. Within months I had the book out and it was selling all over the world. I was hooked. Five months later I published my second book, a smaller one, again it not only sold well, but was making a huge difference in people’s lives. From this, Poetry Chapel was born, a 6 month immersive writing and publishing school for aspiring poets which is about to publish its third collection.
Now I’m helping others publish their own books, whether it be poetry, non-fiction or fiction. I’d love to help you.
Testimonials
Chelan Harkin - Best Selling Poet
But if you have a book in your soul and need support in the steps to bringing it all the way to the world with publication, I wholeheartedly recommend the help of this wonderful person, my Aussie friend, David Tensen.
David and I have been collaborating for the last five months hosting a profound poetry group and I have come to respect and trust David’s heart, experience, knowledge and skill in all things related to the publishing process to the highest degree.
In my own publishing journey, without support I would not have ever brought my books to publication. Finding the right support can be essential.
The process of publishing on the inner levels is huge, vulnerable, courageous, transformational and there is nothing better than working with someone who also has high levels of emotional intelligence and empathy and who deeply and personally understands this dimension of the process.
