The thought of a violence-bent nation and culture crossing our borders and posing a threat to our nation is almost unfathomable to many Australians today.  Last week Australian authorities thwarted a ‘beheading’ plot said to involve Islamic State members. This week authorities have been involved in further terrorist related raids and threats.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and ask a simple question: ‘Are we just reaping?’

Prime Minister Tony Abbott announced a fortnight ago that Australia is now on high terror alert. The thought of death, murder, attack and terrorist take-over is a shock to many who call Australia home.  People are asking, ‘How can they be let across the border?’ ‘Who let them into the country in the first place?’  All good questions.

mapMy heart has been burdened for several months with the land of Australia.  I wanted a map to pray over at home and I felt drawn to use the Indigenous Map of Australia. It doesn’t divide Australia up into states, but shows the hundreds of Australian Aboriginal tribes and their land across Australia. Large Map here.  As I’ve prayed, I’ve been struck with the cold reality of how the nation is now divided up and governed.  It’s not according to those that stewarded the land originally. Instead, it’s been divided according to the settlers and rulers who, by violent force, took the land.

I wonder if you’ve considered these scriptures before?

Dueteronomy 27:17″‘Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s boundary stone.’ “Then all the people are to respond by saying, ‘Amen!’

Prov 23:10 Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:

Lev 19:33 When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong.

The bible is very clear concerning the universal law of Sowing and Reaping.  Basically, if a seed is planted, you will reap a harvest.  It will come back to you.  Add to this the law of increase, you can now be reaping 30, 60 and 100 fold.

If you dare, research some of the treatment of Aboriginal people by the early European settlers in this great nation. It’s shocking. If Facebook had been around in that day I’m sure the atrocity would outrank the ISIS propaganda we see today. In Queensland alone 65,180 Aboriginal Australians were killed between 1820 and early 1900’s

Beheadings, rape, infanticide, genocide all happened under the current British governmental system we live under –  and it really wasn’t that long ago.  Not only were families violently torn apart, but land was stolen, re-zoned and taken away – and when the land was robbed from them, so was part of their identity.  When Captian Cook came to Australia, it was under the guise that this land was classed and declared as ‘Terra Nullius’, a latin term meaning ‘Land belonging to no one.’  REALLY?

You see, unlike New Zealand, there was no treaty made with the inhabitants of the land. Instead, blood was shed and somehow justified.

If you claim to be a follower of Jesus Christ and you are reading this, I hope you realise that these acts of violence on our shores, 200 years ago and now, are by no means justified.  Read Jesus’ sermon on the mount in Matthew 5 and you’ll see that it is Peace Makers (not life-takers) that are blessed and endorsed.

Now, I know some efforts have been made by government to say ‘Sorry’ and pockets of believers across the nation have worked well and intentional on reconciliation with Aboriginal people, but the fruit of what we are seeing today on our shores is simply not a physically-fueled threat. It’s evidence of a spiritual law at play. See Ephesians 6.

If our walls have been breached and terror is on our shores, then we must enquire of God, ‘Why are we reaping?’

The cross of Christ and the blood of Christ remain the two most powerful weapons of warfare in the spirit.  It’s prayers fueled by love, joy and peace that are accomplished through repentance and reconciliation that reach the courts of heaven and it’s judicial system.

I believe that it’s time for the church, the legislative Ekklesia, to exercise her voice in heaven so that it will be manifest on earth. The blood of the innocent still cries out from our land. Mercy and justice must meet. Reconciliation must move to restitution. Heaven is waiting for a company of people to stand in the gap and, allowing the accuser to point the finger, say ‘Yes, we and our forefathers have sinned. Blood is on our hands. Have mercy Lord.’

Basic research will show you the dark threads of Freemasonry and occult practices that have infiltrated our governmental system. This needs to be recognised and dealt with also. I personally struggle to call Australia a “Christian Nation”. Sure, there have been devoted believers in seats of government on occasion, but the foundations are deep, dark and stained with evil. And they are cracking.

If you have European blood, especially British, you are well positioned and have heavenly jurisdiction to petition heaven regarding these matters. Repenting for the blood shed, repenting for the Empire spirit that you and your ancestors ruled from. We all, as priests and kings through Christ, can humbly come before the Lord seeking mercy and help in this time of need, asking that the reaping be brought to death on the cross of Calvary. If we do this, scripture promises that our land will be healed.

This battle must be won in the heavens first.  It’s a spiritual battle. Pray for your leaders and the defense force. That eyes would be opened,  threats shut down and battles won without bloodshed.

Most of all, clothe yourself in Love and Joy. Nothing drives out fear like love. Nothing lifts a heavy heart like joy.

Shalom
